Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

SENSEI understands that Corporate Social Responsibility refers to the way in which SENSEI self regulates to ensure all activities positively affect society as a whole.  Our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy aims to guarantee that SENSEI, our suppliers, and customers work ethically, considering human rights as well as the social, economic and environmental impacts of what we do as a business.   SENSEI are committed to ensuring that any business undertakings are conducted as ethically as possible by following the below policy.

Looking after our Employees

To ensure we retain our employees we maintain a good working environment.

 

  • We manage our own employee onboarding and refresh training programme.

  • We compile and manage tailored Development and Mentoring programme

  • We ensure employees have clear/robust policies/processes to support them fully

  • We manage annual employee appraisals defining realistic and supported targets / objectives

  • We ensure employee remuneration is above market average and reviewed regularly

  • We manage our own Equality, Inclusivity and Diversity Policy and Process

  • We regularly encourage employee feedback to create innovation, modifications to our policies and process, conduct a lesson learnt review and learn generally as an organisation

  • We provide a full customer training programme where applicable

  • We establish and agree tailored, measurable service performance metrics

  • We ensure, where possible, that our polices and processes are aligned to our customers’ values and objectives

  • We ensure an agreed and tailored communication plan is established

  • We ensure customers have access to supportive, clear and robust processes

Suppliers’ Standards

  • We flow our values, and associate polices to our suppliers via our sustainable procurement process and in our service contracts

  • We ensure to provide full training to our suppliers where applicable

  • We have a full, agreed communication plan in place with our suppliers

  • We ensure all relevant policies and processes are very clear for all suppliers

  • We establish agreed, and measurable supplier service performance metrics

  • We ensure our suppliers evidence they adhere to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and Bribery Act 2010

  • Where possible, we endeavour to procure locally

  • We are committed to paying suppliers promptly and in line with agreed payment terms.

  • We encourage our suppliers to have their own Corporate Social Responsibility policy and practices.

  • We regularly encourage supplier feedback to create innovation, modifications to our policies and process, conduct a lesson learnt review and learn generally as an organisation 

 

Protecting the Environment

SENSEI understand the importance of committing to reduce the environment impact that your SENSEI, suppliers and customers:

 

  • We manage our own Environmental/Sustainability and Sustainable Procurement Policy which is aligned to ISO14001

  • Our ISO9001 manages and reports on our sustainability service metrics

  • SENSEI maintains a paperless operation

  • SENSEI employees work from home

  • Employees are given support and guidance for being sustainable at home

  • A full recycling, upcycling and WEEE disposal process is enforced.

Charity & Volunteering

SENSEi recognize the value of giving back to the communities in which we operate and the positive impact that volunteer work can have on society. We actively encourage and support our employees to engage in volunteering activities that contribute to the well-being and development of local communities.

We are committed to the following: 

  1.    Encouraging Participation: We encourage our staff to volunteer their time and skills to causes they are passionate about. We support a wide range of initiatives, including environmental conservation, education, community welfare, and social justice.

  2.    Paid Volunteer Days: To demonstrate our commitment, we provide employees with a set number of paid volunteer days annually, enabling them to contribute without sacrificing their work commitments.

  3.    Partnerships with Charities and NGOs: We will actively seek to partner with local charities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community groups, facilitating opportunities for our staff to volunteer in meaningful and impactful projects.

  4.    Skill-based Volunteering: We encourage our employees to leverage their professional skills and expertise in their volunteer work, helping organizations and individuals in need of specialized support, from financial literacy training to project management and mentorship.

  5.    Promoting a Culture of Giving Back: Through internal communication and recognition programs, we promote a culture that celebrates the contribution of time and effort to good causes, fostering a sense of pride and purpose in our employees’ volunteer efforts.

 

Measurement

This Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and associated processes are measured,  monitored and reported on via our ISO9001 Quality Management System.

 

Policy Responsibilities

SENSEI is ultimately responsible for ensuring that this policy conforms with legal and ethical commitments.   SENSEI is in charge of implementing this policy on a daily basis, monitoring its usage and effectiveness, managing lessons learnt, performance reporting, breaches, awareness, communication, reporting, and quality assuring internal control systems and processes ensuring their accuracy and relevance.  SENSEI Management, at levels, is responsible for ensuring that direct reporting employees, consultants and suppliers understand and comply with this policy as well as undergo training on the policy and the subject of Corporate Social Responsibility.  SENSEI Management are responsible for ensuring this policy flows down into all aspects of our supply chain engagement from procurement to contract management.
